Locum Medical Receptionist – Letchworth - £9ph ASAP Start
Dream Medical is currently working with a GP surgery in Letchworth/ Hitchin in recruiting a locum Medical Receptionist to work the front desk.
The surgery would like to recruit a Medical Receptionist to work 27 hours/w to start ASAP on a temporary 3 month basis with a view to turn into a permanent role in the new year.
The days are split over a 2 week rota, but we can be a little flexible with this – generally the receptionist would work either a morning from 8am to 1 or 2pm or afternoon from 1pm to 6 or 7pm.
Duties include:
- Audio typing
- Copy typing
- Inputting new referrals
- Dealing with patients face to face and phone calls
- Sending letters to parents
- Booking/changing appointments
Ideal candidates:
- Prior experience in a GP practice
- Used EMIS Webb software (not essential)
- Good customer service skills and telephone manner
- Proof of ID
- 2 x references from within the past 12 months
- Right to work
- DBS Check within 1 year
