Dream Medical are working with a purpose built, modern hospital in Bournemouth and have an exciting opportunity for a Radiographer. Whether you're a Radiographer in an NHS or Private setting, now is the time to apply for a role within the Radiography team within a reputable Private Hospital.
Founded in 1957, this highly regarded Hospital provides the highest level of healthcare for a wide range of medical, surgical and diagnostic services, and so attract many leading consultant surgeons and physicians. This is a caring environment with 41 beds, Cardio Cath Lab, 3 theatres an endoscopy room and 4 treatment rooms within a really unique setting. We're located near the centre of town, just a short walk from the Travel Interchange.
You will be working in a modern and well equipped department which consists of 1 General X-ray room, 1 Fluoroscopy room, 1 320 slice Toshiba CT scanner, 2 Ultrasound machines, Mammography, Dexa and MRI scanner.
We are looking for a Radiographer to support our existing proficient, motivated and talented team. The successful applicant will have an enthusiastic outlook to ensure the delivery of a high quality diagnostic imaging service; they will undertake a wide range of radiographic examinations. You will therefore need to be an excellent communicator, customer focused with good IT skills; you must be enthusiastic about gaining a wider, more holistic, understanding of patient care.
Within this role you will be required to participate in the on call rota, on call duties are generally one night per week and one weekend in five, you will also be expected to cover a minimum of one Bank Holiday weekend.
Your duties will include Theatre/Mobile, General radiography, fluoroscopy, CT where previous experience is shown.
