Dream Medical on behalf of a fantastic 5 partner surgery in West Berkshire are seeking an enthusiastic GP to join a semi rural training practice set in beautiful premises.

The Surgery is in an attractive market town situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty in West Berkshire with a population of around 5,000.

The town benefits from its close association with the Kennet & Avon Canal and has excellent road and rail links. The major towns of Swindon, Newbury, Reading, Oxford, Andover and Salisbury are all within easy reach and a number of residents commute each day to London on the Great Western Railway which runs into Paddington.

Our client is a high achieving GMS Practice with 7500 registered patients. You would be replacing a retiring partner.

The Surgery is ideally looking for a partner who can commit to 8 sessions per week but there is scope to reduce this to 6 sessions a week if you so wish.

The GP Practice has a strong practice administration and nursing team which makes your working day as seamless as is possible in practice today.

The staff retention level at our clients Surgery is extremely high and this is testament to the attitude of the partners. It is a very patient focused Surgery which is run very well by a practice manager with over 20 years experience in the NHS.

The salary post buy in (the premises are Partner owned) is in the region of £10,000 – 11,000 per session plus MDU and Pension. Your MDU fees will be covered by way of contribution and this contribution is non pensionable.
