Dream Medical is seeking a locum GP for 6/8 sessions a week based in a traditional, purpose built surgery in Chippenham, Gloucester.

With fantastic commuter routes from the Surrounding areas of Gloucester as well as Bath and Bristol, we are leasing directly with the CCG to fill this Salaried GP position.

You will be based out of a purpose built surgery, which has recently been re built with a full quota of clinical and non clinical staff. The Surgery has no weekend commitments at present. There will be a maximum of 1 home visit a day. The Surgery employs an ECP to do home visits but there any be a need on any given day.

This modern surgery caters to registered patients only. With a manageable patient list size of 9000 patients, this surgery is a well run place of work with ample support functions.

The Surgery uses System one and accredited paper light bringing it up to date with all computer systems to aide your work on a day to day basis.

The Surgery has an exceptional clinical team and you will be taken on to service a growing patient list size.

Recently accredited as a GP Training practice, our client is keen to support and encourage GPs to develop their clinical interests alongside traditional General Practice responsibilities. With a fully functional minor surgery and treatment suite, and a supportive multi-disciplinary team of nurses and therapists, the practice has recently expanded its portfolio and now offers:


• A full range of Enhanced Services including LARC, Minor Surgery, Near Patient Testing, Anticoagulation
• In-house phlebotomy and ECG services
• Nurse mentorship programme
• GP training
• Innovative proposals for the management of urgent care
• Onsite medicines management technical support


The hourly rate on offer for this locum is £80.00 per hour. We can guarantee a contract length of 6 months.


You must be a fully qualified GP on a performers list to be eligible for this position with previous UK experience as a ST3 GP or higher.
