This is a full time, temporary post covering a Maternity post.

Do you have experience in ward management and the confidence to take charge of the hospital at night? Are you driven, enthusiastic and looking for a career working with a variety of different specialities?

Dream Medical are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic sister to join a dynamic night team on a fixed term contract of 12 months, from November 2015 to cover Maternity Leave. This is an ideal opportunity to enhance your existing skills and broaden your experience.

You will have at least 5 years post qualification experience with at least 2 years at senior level. Duties will include ward management, leading a team of nurse and healthcare assistants, promoting high standards of care and the implementation and monitoring of protocols and policies. You will oversee and work with medical, surgical and high dependency patients. You will take part in the clinical on call service.

The client provides care to patients undergoing a range of complex surgery. In addition, they also care for those requiring intervention during their oncology treatment or palliative care and those with complex conditions.

Working with leading consultants, the client offers a wide range of complex surgery and services for preventing, diagnosing and treating many medical conditions. The facilities, now refurbished and expanded, include state-of-the-art high dependency and oncology units, and a digital theatre.
