Dream medical are working with a friendly, happy team, willing to share both workload and reward and we are set up to make the best use of our GPs' time and effort: Our fantastic triage team is highly regarded by our patients.
They take care of most emergencies of the day and minor illness. An excellent team of nurses and HCAs takes care of chronic disease. Our admin team is supportive, stable and dedicated. Effective communication between these and the GP team generates a cooperative working environment.
We actively encourage development and interests. Higher than average earnings, means your commitment is well rewarded. Our full time GPs currently work a four day week. Newly qualified GPs can benefit from mentoring from our two senior GPs, each of whom have over 25 years' experience. Reduced duty days for an initial agreed period can also help with settling in. There is a generous six weeks leave plus one week study leave allowance pro rata. MDDUS fees are paid by the practice. Extra skills and specialists are not a requirement for this job, but if you happen to have any, we'll put them to good use.
This excellent surgery is well-established, with a loyal and growing list of 8,800 patients. The practice is a mix of market town and rural villages & farms. The spacious modern premises were extended and refurbished in 2003. Located in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, we're only an hour from London on the train and a 45 minute drive from Bath & Bristol. With three existing GP partners, a strong triage and nursing team, supported by a great admin team, we're set up for success.
