Practice Nurse Leicester locum GP surgeries
Dream Medical are working with various GP surgeries in and around Leicester who are currently looking for a Part time Locum Practice Nurse to join their team, days and hours can be flexible.
You will be working as part of a team alongside GP's,Nurses and healthcare assistants.
The Practice Nurse is part of a nursing team responsible for ensuring that the practice provides an optimum service of nursing care relevant to the practice population.
The main duties and responsibilities are as follows.
Asthma
Diabetic review
Hypertension Clinic
IHD Clinic
COPD Clinic
Immunisation Vaccination Clinic
Holiday Vaccination Clinic
Flu Vaccination Clinic
Cervical Smears
Family Planning
Amending or adding to services as needs are identified.
1.Maintaining efficient liaison with all areas of the Primary Care Team and other agencies to assure continuity of care where necessary.
2.Routine treatment in general clinics, including:
Wound management
Phlebotomy
ECGs
and other general Treatment Room skills
