RGN RMN PRISON SETTINGS NOTTINGHAM in Nottingham

Prison Nurse, RGN & RMN's urgently required in Nottingham
Dream Medical are working with a Prison in the Nottingham region and require a Band 5 or Band 6 Registered General Nurse (RGN) and Mental Health Nurses (RMN) to work flexible shifts (Full time), ideally You will have previous experience as a Prison Nurse and valid clearance levels however Dream can organise clearance for you.
Main responsibilities:

•Assess patient's health and well being across a complex and changing caseload
•Assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals health and wellbeing needs
•Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information
•Promote best practices in health and safety and security
•Assist in maintaining and developing services
•Contribute to quality improvement
•Promote peoples equality, diversity and rights
•Work autonomously with minimum supervision
•Applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient case mixes


•RGN/RMN will be successful at working in teams
•Prison Clearance or Shared Security Cleared for either Cat A, B or C (Desirable but not essential)
•Experience of working within secured environments.
•Competence across a range of nursing skills supported by professional and clinical knowledge
•Posses training requirements RGN/RMN role
•Current NMC registration
•Current DBS/CRB
•Be able to provide full documentation
